You’ve Listened, You’ve Decreed, Now Stand Still and See the Salvation of the Lord!!

As I shared with you recently, oftentimes when you are spending time in intimacy with the Lord, you do not even know what the strategy or plan of the enemy is, you just need to simply declare what God is saying in a particular situation.  This will sometimes happen before you even know that the enemy has a strategy against you……

This has happened to me on many occasions.  I will briefly tell you of one incident that took place this past July 4th when my husband and I almost lost our little 7 year old in a horrible accident.  See, I had NO way of knowing the horrible plan of the enemy for that day, BUT as I woke up that day, I had a very unsettling feeling and as Steve and I prayed, we HEARD from the Lord, as we stepped into our PROPHETIC place of hearing the Lord, and He told us to open the bible and start DECLARING Psalm 91 and declare it over us.  See, we stepped into our Kingly role AFTER 1st hearing Him as He directed us what to do.  I will not go in to all the details, but God’s protection intervened in such supernatural way, that, that boating accident that was meant to kill our little one, turned out to be nothing short of a miracle!  Do you see what I am saying?  I did not know the plan the enemy had, I did not focus on him.  I only was still enough to hear the Father and do what He told me to do, and we had FULL VICTORY!

Steve and I were ahead of the enemy, NOT because we were looking horizontally at what the enemy might be trying to do, BUT because we HEARD the father and we got His perspective which was to step into our KINGLY role and RELEASE the ONCE AND FOR ALL SETTELD DECREE of PROTECTION over us.

THIS IS WHAT KINGLY PRAYER IS ABOUT.  HEARING THE FATHER AND RELEASING ON EARTH WHAT IS HIS HEART AND HIS DESIRE TO BE RELEASED IN ANY GIVEN SITUATION.  Your Kingdom come, Your will be done here on earth (in my situation) as IT IS IN HEAVEN!”

Now, like I have been saying, we will look at the DECLARATIVE PRAYER and CONFRONTATIONAL PRAYER and try to break them down with the meaning of some of these words.

DECLARATIVE PRAYER:    CREATIVE

Build – to frame to shape to form

As you can see, YOUR words are building something!  They are creating something!  Line upon line, precept upon precept.  Whatever we are speaking, that very image is being created!  For good, or evil.  Remember, life and death is in the power of the tongue.  You see, that is why the Lord wants more and more to pierce our tongues and our lips as it is written in the Proverbs 20:15 and Proverbs 3:15, so that we will only speak HIS word.  Can you see why God in His mercy kept us on such a low level of authority because we’ve had such a mixture come out of our mouth?  BUT the more we walk in this place of the fear of the Lord to KNOW that “I am creating something or destroying something with every word that comes out of my mouth”, the MORE authority He can entrust to us.

Build up – (there is a difference in building and building up) to increase and strengthen, to cement and knit together.

So our words can either build people up, or tear them down – and the CHOICE IS OURS.  We are kings because THE KING lives in us, so we can do one or the other, for good or for evil.  He’s entrusted a lot into our hands hasn’t He?  He’s a God full of faith!  He’s entrusted the power to create or destroy in our mouth, so let’s ALWAYS make sure we ONLY release what we have 1ST heard in our prayer closets from Him.  We are to rule as wise kings because as I have said, we have the KING OF KINGS living in us!

Plant – to set in the ground for growth, to set, to settle to introduce and establish, to Unite to Christ and fix in a state of fellowship with HIM.

You see, this is the part where you plant into the next generation.  Like I was mentioning above, if you have trouble with your children that are not walking with the Lord, here is where you use your kingly authority to “plant, unite to Christ and fix in a state of fellowship with Him”. SO you can declare and say, “Father I plant, I unite to YOU my children and fix them in a state of fellowship with You!”

Now, briefly, we will look at a few of the CONFRONTATIONAL words.

Uproot – to remove from the place where it                                                        obtained nourishment.

Allow me to please make an intervention here.  Please continue to follow with me.  If I had two dogs, and on one hand have a beautiful, little white poodle, sweet little thing!  On the other side, I have a pit-bull (not that there is anything wrong with them, but just for the sake of visualization purposes) that would love to eat me alive.  Which one would I want to feed, and which one would I want to starve out?

In the Christian life, we are sometimes nourishing the wrong thing.  We’re nourishing the wrong things like our hurts, our offenses, our fears and so on.  Whatever we nourish, that GROWS!  God wants us to nourish the GOOD things of justice, truth, mercy, love, faith, patience, ALL of those things of good report.

In other words, when we are reminded by the enemy (he is the accuser of the brethren) through a thought or a feeling of someone’s offense against us, and we know we already took that to the cross and we covered it and remitted it in our PRESTLY role, we can EITHER nourish that thought or feeling and give it life AGAIN, because the enemy WILL ALWAYS seek entrance, OR we can declare the word of God.  It is under the BLOOD NEVER to be brought up again.  Do you see here?  We are replacing our thought from a lower realm, with His thought from a higher realm!

Now back to Uprooting.  At the same time that we’re creating something, we’re uprooting it.  This is what I was saying earlier.  You do not have to focus on the enemy and necessarily bind him and rebuke him, BECAUSE as you release the WORD of God, the TRUTH of God, the LIGHT of God into that situation, we ARE declaring the word of God but at the same time, we are uprooting the lie of the enemy, as well as DEPRIVING that thing of it’s nourishment!

Root out – to ferret out- to drive out of a lurking                                                place, as a ferret does a coney

We’re talking about getting into those dark,        l                            lurking places and releasing the light of God to                      shine in that hidden place where the enemy has                       been hiding,          and then ferreting him out .  I know                          this will not be a pretty picture, but again for the                            sake of good visualization I will go for it!

If you have an infestation of roaches in your                                    house, they are busy scouring while it’s                                  dark, because they love the dark and that is where                              they do their nasty business.   BUT once you turn                             the light on, they ALL scatter because they have                             been exposed!  This is what happens when we                        release the light of God into a situation.  When you                release the WORD of God in your situation, you                             ARE releasing HIS light and the enemy WILL                       scatter because he’s been exposed!!

Pluck up – to tear up by the roots or from the                                           foundation

If you have a garden and you have weeds, those                                        long ones that go on forever and have deep roots                                                and whey you try to pull it out, it breaks above the                                         root or ground.  HOWEVER, if you take a hose                                               and let the earth soak, you let that dry, hard,                                                      ground soak the water maybe even over night, in                                             the morning when you go to pull out the weed,                                         because the ground is soaked with the water, it will                                   have to put no effort because the weed will come                                          up root and all.  See, what does the bible say in                                             Ephesians?  Let the washing of the water with the                                           Word.  The release of the word of God softens the                                              soil and when you go back to try to pull up the                                         “root” again, you will pull out the root effortless,                                                the entire root!

If you only cut something off at the ground level,                             and you did not get the root out you actually are                             sending strength to the root.  In Italy with the                            grape vines, they prone the vines all the way back                       to a nub to the very ground level because it will                       cause it to grow bigger and stronger the nest year.

If you’re not rooting out and dealing with the root                           issues, you are actually giving strength to the root.                How does this work in our situation?

When were looking form our own human perspective, we will just CUT it off at the ground level.  BUT if we are getting HIS perspective of the situations we are facing, He will take us to the very root of the problem, and show us WHY the root is there.  That revelation comes ONLY by INTIMACY WITH HIM, as we spend our time with Him in that quiet place, that place where we are hearing His heart, and Hearing what HE has to say, that place of the inner most chambers, that place of a Prophet.

Break down – to crush, weaken, impair or shatter,                                            to dissipate the strength of

Now, this is NOT instant, but it may be a process.

Every time you release the word of God, the                                                       enemy is getting weaker!

Overthrow – to overturn, to defeat, to conquer, to                                     vanquish to throw down, to overcome, to subdue in                        battle to refute in argument.  EXAMPLE “COME                                 OUT!”  This leaves NO ground for compromising,                            or debating!  You ARE CONQUERING!

You see, when you and I were born into the Kingdom of God, we were automatically born into WAR.  We have no choice!  We just need to take our rightful place as kings UNDER the authority of OUR KING and release HIS WILL in any given situation!

All Spiritual warfare comes under the category of KINGLY CONFRONTATIONAL PRAYER.  As we step into our kingly role, and as we start to pray as kings, we have come out of our Priestly prayers, like I mentioned such as petitions, supplications, intercession, and we are NOW stepping into KINGLY CONFRONTATIONAL PRAYER.  David was a King and a Judge and a Warrior.  You will see in the scriptures that Kings were all Judges as well.  They legislated laws, they made laws and they enacted laws.  They made DECLARATIONS, BUT they also WENT OUT TO WAR.

Are you seeing it by now that there is a WARRIOR THING ON THE KINGLY ANOINTING????!!!!!

In America, we separate the judicial, legislative and the executive branch of government.  In the Bible, they were all one in the same.  ALL kings were also judges and lawmakers.  Let’s look at some scriptures about this:

Psalm 82:1 “God stands in the assembly of the representatives of God, in the midst of the MAGISTRATES or JUDGES, He gives judgment among the gods.”  Every one of us had been called to represent Jesus to the earth!!!

The word MAGISTRATE means KING.  Here is the definition.  A public civil officer invested with the EXECUTIVE government or some branch of it.  In this sense, a KING is the highest or first magistrate.  SO, I am writing among an assembly of the kings of God!

Psalm 82:6 I said, You are gods since you JUDGE on MY behalf, as MY representatives, indeed ALL of you are children of the Most High.”    He is calling us gods with a little “g” because we are standing and representing Him and we are speaking on His behalf.

Exodus 7:1-2 “ The Lord said to Moses, Behold, I make you AS GOD to Pharaoh to DECLARE MY WILL and PURPOSE to him…you shall SPEAK all that I command you.”

There’s a picture of Kingly Prayer.  He’s made US HIS MOUTH PIECE to declare what He’s purposes are in our lives and every situation that we are facing!

So once the sin is covered by the PRIESTLY ROLE, it is time to release the CREATIVE WORD OF GOD, which is the LIGHTNING of GOD!

With God’s Words in Your Mouth, You can “Decree a Thing” as a KING!!

Now, as I mentioned at the beginning of this teaching on Kings, a King DECLARES, HE DOES NOT PETITION as Priests would do.  They simply DECLARE AND DECREE things into existence.  That is what WE are to do as we step into OUR KINGLY role and DECREE the “AMEN” as we SPEAK the FINAL WORD of God.  I would like to take you through some DECLARATIVE PRAYERS.  But before I do that, let us look at a scripture that shows us ALL the types of prayers we CAN release as we step into our Kingly role.  Please follow with me very closely, as I try to apply my teaching “expertise” and break this down for you.  Lol, lol!!!             Jeremiah 1: 9-10“Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth.  And the Lord said to me, Behold, I have put MY WORDS in YOUR MOUTH.  See, I have this day appointed you to the oversight of the nations and of the kingdoms to root out and pull down, to destroy and to overthrow (Confrontational), to build and to plant.” (Creative)    If you noticed, the root out and pull down and to destroy are ALL CONFRONTATIONAL prayers.  REMEMBER WHAT DO KINGS DO?  They decree things into existence and they also WAR.  Sometimes for a king to enforce his law of the land or the decree he has declared, he must become CONFRONTATIONAL.  He has a confrontational AUTHORITY.  BUT as you have seen, when he releases a DECREE, he in a sense also releases his CREATIVE AUTHORITY.  So, we have confrontational authority as well as creative authority.   On one hand we are tearing down, plucking up, destroying the works of the enemy in our lives, and on the other hand, we are creating something, we are creating HIS will for our lives.  WE are working hand in hand with our creator and our FATHER to allow HIM to RELEASE THROUGH OUR MOUTH, HIS WILL.   The KEY is that HE PUT HIS WORDS IN OUR MOUTH!!!!!  It’s about what we’re HEARING!  IT’S BACK to our PROPHETIC call, remember?  Prophets simply HEAR what the father is saying and ONLY release what they HEAR HIM saying!  It’s WHAT ARE HEARING THAT WE RELEASE!!!  When we HEAR the “NOW PROCEEDING WORD OF GOD, we put that in OUR mouth and as we RELEASE it, we ARE CREATING SOMETHING with it!   Now, let’s break it down one step further.  We will notice that the CREATIVE prayer is kind of the same as CONFRONTATIONAL prayer BECAUSE when the enemy is CONFRONTED with the TRUTH of God, of that CREATIVE word of God, it will TEAR down, it will pull out, and it will pluck up and destroy ALL the word that he’s been over here busy doing.  What do I mean?  Well, for instance if you’re battling with sickness in your body and the doctors are giving you a very bad report, you DON’T NECESSARILY have to release a confrontational prayer like, “I rebuke you spirit of ….. that is trying to attack my body, I bind you spirit of death off of me…”  You could Just RELEASE the CREATIVE WORD OF GOD by saying “Father I release your life in me.  You come to give me life, and life MORE abundantly, for I shall live and NOT die and declare the works of my Lord.”  See, the enemy is ARRESTED with the TRUTH of God when the light and revelation of God enters the scene and something is CREATED, and at the same time, his works are destroyed.  Now I AM NOT SAYING THAT YOU SHOULD NOT CONFRONT the enemy IF YOU HEAR THE LORD TELLING YOU TO DO SO!  I confront the enemy when I hear the Lord telling me to do so.  What I am saying is that there may be times when the Lord may tell you as a king, you are to just simply release HIS creative word!  He may NOT want you to look at your lost child and rebuke the enemy out of their lives.  He may just want you to release His creative word that says, “My children shall return form the land of the enemy, and they shall rise up and call me blessed.  One shall call himself by the name of the Lord and the other by the name of Israel.  They are like the trees planted by the waters.”  You see?  Because when you are doing this, the enemy is stopped in his tracks and arrested with the TRUTH or CREATIVE word of God and IMMEDIATELY ALL that he has been bringing against you is plucked out and tore down and destroyed by the creative word of God that you released.  I am simply saying that we don’t have to have our focus all the time on what the enemy is doing.  See we worship what we behold.  If we’re busy taking our cue’s from the devil, we’re giving him worship.  SO we are not down here looking at what the devil is up to and praying into a DEFENSIVE posture therefore making us always one step BEHIND the devil!  You might think that you have to know ALL that the enemy is doing so that AFTER you can declare against his works.  That is NOT the case!   Remember how Elisha was always one step ahead of the enemy?  That was because the Lord was showing him in his chambers what the enemy was planning, therefore he always had the army one step ahead of what the enemy was planning and the enemy was scratching his head not knowing how Elisha knew his plans.    The key is that the Lord revealed it!  Where?  In his chambers, in prayer.  Who were Elisha’s eyes on?  The Lord – not the enemy.  He was not seeking out to know what the enemy was planning.  You see, as we are in tune with the Father, He’s going to reveal to us what we need to know.  We don’t even necessarily need to know what the enemy is doing, BECAUSE as we release the Word of God, the word that we hear HIM telling us to release, NOT OUR WORDS, BUT ONLY WHAT WE HEAR HIM SAYING, we will put the enemy to route in the areas that we may not even have natural understanding of his plans!   To be continued…….
